Course Description

Take the first step into the world of welding! This two-day introductory micro-credential provides a foundation in welding safety, industry applications, and the most common welding processes used in today's workplaces, including MIG, Stick (SMAW), TIG (GTAW), Flux-Cored (FCAW), Metal-Cored (MCAW), and Oxy-Fuel Welding and Cutting.

Through classroom instruction, live demonstrations, and supervised shop activities, participants will gain practical insight into the welding trade, develop confidence in a shop environment, and learn the fundamental principles that underpin welding technologies across multiple industries.
