Course Description

Gain firsthand insight into some of British Columbia's most innovative approaches to water stewardship. This course provides an intensive exploration of four current initiatives at the intersection of agricultural water use and Indigenous water governance. Through field trips to waterway restoration projects and engaging discussions with Indigenous Elders, community leaders, and practitioners, participants will examine real-world examples of collaboration, sustainability, and reconciliation in action.

Offered alongside AGRI 497C, this course also serves as a valuable Professional Development opportunity for BC Institute of Agrologists (BCIA) registrants seeking to expand their knowledge and professional practice.
